Lo "squilibrio ontologico" e la destinazione dell'uomo nella filosofia di Sciacca

2025 - Morcelliana

P. 415-424

This paper aims to outline the fundamental aspects of the conception of subjectivity proposed by Sciacca in his "Philosophy of Integrity". Section 1 examines the notion of the spiritual act as an "objective interiority" rooted in Augustinian thought. Subsequently (in Sections 2 and 3), the concept of "ontological imbalance" is analyzed in depth, highlighting its role in characterizing the dialectical dynamism of concrete existence, understood as a meeting point between the finite and the infinite. This perspective reveals the religious and theistic significance of human destiny, which does not remain confined within itself but opens up to transcendence and alterity [Publisher's Text].
