Educación y política en Paulo Freire : entre la resistencia epistémica y la transitividad de larga duración en Brasil

  • Buscamos responder a la pregunta de si el pensamiento de Paulo Freire es capaz de "arrojar luz" sobre los desafíos actuales en el campo educativo. Volvemos a sus concepciones de la educación y la política para demostrar la unidad de ambos articulados al compromiso ético y político con los subordinados. Trajimos el conjunto de esfuerzos de los grupos dominantes, a partir de 2013, para "reescribir" la historia brasileña, en un intento de ocultar los actos ilícitos y afirmar las injusticias como algo natural.
  • Entre los esfuerzos está el de reducir a Paulo Freire a una "caricatura" comunista y sectaria, lo que nos da la indicación de que su obra sigue viva y provocativa. Concluimos que su pensamiento fue y sigue avanzando porque entiende los fenómenos educativos de manera histórica y cultural, con base en una cosmovisión justa y humana. Los trabajos originales de Freire, los informes y comentarios periodísticos y la literatura actual sobre el autor sirvieron de base para esta investigación. [Texto de la editorial]
  • We seek to answer the question of whether Paulo Freire's thought is able of "shedding light" on current challenges in the educational field. We return to his conceptions of education and politics to demonstrate the unity of both articulated to the ethical and political commitment with subordinates. We brought the set of efforts of the dominant groups, starting in 2013, to "rewrite" Brazilian history, in an attempt to hide the illicit acts and affirm the injustices as something natural. Among the efforts is to reduce Paulo Freire to a communist and sectarian "caricature", which gives us the indication that his work is still alive and provocative. We conclude that his thinking was and continues to advance because he understands educational phenomena historically and cultural, based on a just and humane worldview. Freire's original works, journalistic reports and commentary, and current literature on the author served as the basis for this research. [Publisher's text]
