50 anni di '68.

2019 - Franco Angeli

5-13 p.

  • 1968 seems more than ever a watershed, a turning point in history, with a clear "before" and "after". This applies to politics, behaviours, mentalities, the relationship between the sexes, music, cinema, art. The distance which separates us from the events allows us to discuss 1968 in historical terms, in a rather more serene and considered manner than was previously the case, when acritical exaltation or posthumous damnation was the norm. The first global event in history, it had a planetary dimension and a complex relationship with the politics of the times. It was also the end of an era, the 1960s, in which a whole generation felt it possible to dream of, and to achieve, unlimited conquests for humanity. [Publisher's text].
