Percorsi di empowerment e ripristino delle politiche di integrazione in Abruzzo

  • L'articolo è il frutto di un percorso durato dal 2011 al 2015, nel quale sono stati implementati tre progetti nella provincia di Chieti, volti a favorire i processi di inclusione e di empowerment dei migranti nella gestione dei servizi rivolti ai migranti stessi. Nel saggio, che ha come framework di riferimento le politiche di integrazione dei migranti comunitarie e nazionali, intrecciate con i processi di re-scaling, vengono spiegati i risultati emersi dall'implementazione dei tre progetti. È stata, inoltre, evidenziata la differenza di come le due giunte (Chiodi: 2009 - 2014; D'Alfonso: 2014 - in carica), avvicendatesi in questi cinque anni, hanno posto attenzione alle politiche di integrazione degli immigrati e come l'attuale assessore regionale ai servizi sociali abbia tenuto conto dei risultati dei tre progetti, considerando l'immigrazione una risorsa e non un problema, come riteneva la precedente giunta.   • The article is the result of a path lasted from 2011 to 2015, in which three projects were implemented in the province of Chieti, aimed at promoting the processes of inclusion and empowerment of migrants in the management of services for migrants themselves. In the essay, whose the reference framework are the EU and national integration policies for migrants, interwoven with rescaling processes, the results of implementation of the three projects have been explained. Moreover, it has been highlighted the difference between the two Regional Committees (Chiodi, 2009 and 2014; D'Alfonso: 2014 - in office) about in these five years they have paid attention to the integration policies of immigrants. The current Regional Councilor for Social Services has taken into account the results of the three pro-jects, considering that immigration is a resource rather than a problem, as the pre-vious Committee considered.
  • The investigated territory has been used as a pilot area in order to highlight the strengths and weaknesses of the integration policies of migrants in the Abruzzo Region. [Publisher's text].
