Riflessioni sul setting psicoanalitico nella storia della teoria della tecnica

  • Viene discusso il concetto di setting all'interno della storia della teoria della tecnica psicoanalitica. Mentre una volta il setting aveva un ruolo periferico e l'interpretazione era considerata l'intervento caratterizzante il metodo psicoanalitico, negli ultimi decenni le cose si sono capovolte: l'interpretazione è diventata un concetto debole, e il setting è diventato quasi il nuovo concetto forte della psicoanalisi. Viene ripercorso il dibattito sulla teoria della tecnica alla luce di queste considerazioni, e discussi i motivi per cui oggi viene data molta importan-za al setting anche in termini di fattore curativo. Alla fine viene discusso il setting della terapia on-line, diventata molto comune dal 2020 anche a causa del lock-down dovuto alla pandemia di COVID-19. Queste considerazioni vengono utilizzate per riflettere sull'identità della psicoanalisi. [Testo dell'editore]
  • Reflections on psychoanalytic frame in the history of theory of technique. The concept of psychoanalytic frame is discussed within the history of theory of tech-nique. While the frame of therapy had a peripheral role and interpretation was considered the intervention most characterizing the psychoanalytic method, in recent decades things have turned upside down: interpretation has become a weak concept, and the psychoanalytic frame has become almost the new strong concept of psychoanalysis. The debate on theory of technique is retraced in the light of these considerations, and reflections are made on the reasons why today the psychoanalytic frame is given importance also as a curative factor. At the end there is a discussion on the setting of online therapy, which has become very common since 2020 also due to the lockdown because of the COVID-19 pandemic. These considerations are used to reflect on the identity of psychoanalysis. [Publisher's text]
