  • Nella filosofia romana le finestre sono aperture attraverso cui i sensi percepiscono il mondo; nella tradizione ebraica le finestre segnano invece il confine tra l'uomo e la donna, in sé una relazione intersoggettiva. Nel Cantico dei cantici si apre un mondo intermedio che i partner della coppia costruiscono insieme. È essenziale, assistiti dalla finestra, mantenere e nutrire una relazionalità che sia anche diversità dei membri della coppia. Le donne e gli uomini sono obbligati a creare dei mondi intermedi: per vedere se stessi hanno bisogno dello specchio, per conoscere il mondo hanno bisogno di una finestra. [Testo dell'editore].
