Territorialiser la culture pour enrichir son apport au développement collectif

This article presents the results of a research into the effects of a professional theatrical work on collective development. A qualitative methodology was used, combining interviews, observations and group discussions, before, during and after the theatrical performance. The results show that the performance strengthens citizens' pride, their collective image and their sense of belonging to their territory. What's more, the territorialization of culture creates links between the professional theatrical milieu and the farming community, generating a sense of trust and empowerment. [Publisher's Text]
