Strategy for Accelerating Gamal Leaves as Forage Feed Additives in Migrant-Dense Areas : a Case Study in Jember

Small scale livestock farmers face challenges in feed availability, particularly during the dry season. Gamal leaf forage, with its high protein content and durability, offers a sustainable solution to these issues. This study focuses on Klungkung, Sukorambi District, a migrant-dense area where economic empowerment through innovative business models is crucial. By exploring entrepreneurship-based gamal fertilizer production, the research assesses its potential to meet local economic needs and improve community welfare. The objectives are to analyze the business position, create a business plan, and formulate strategies to accelerate the adoption of environmentally friendly, location-specific gamal leaf forage in Jember Regency. The study surveyed 30 members of livestock farmer groups in high-potential areas, utilizing the Business Model Canvas (BMC) and SWOT methods for analysis. Results reveal the business position is highly promising, with strategies emphasizing leveraging group strengths to capitalize on
