The production of neoliberal subjectivity in platform capitalism : comparative interpretative hypotheses
106-126 p.
The analysis focuses on the development of two theoretical-interpretative approach of neoliberal subjectivity defined by the emergence of individual autonomy and of proactive attitudes towards work and social life. Based upon this assumption, the article concentrates on relational, hybrid and identity processes that characterise two environments of platform capitalism today: the world of industrial production which is systemically digitalising its processes - industry 4.0 platforms , and the phenomenon of "uberisation" and "becoming freelance"of people in the world of digital services characterised by lean platforms. The largely theoretical reflection is supported by empirical cases. [Publisher's text].
