  • In questo contributo discuto un'interpretazione della teoria aristotelica del tempo, articolata da Luigi Ruggiu in un ponderoso studio appena ripubblicato dopo molti anni. La sua lettura 'a tutto tondo' esplora i molti sensi in cui il tempo si pone come un concetto-chiave per il pensiero aristotelico, trovandosi all'intersezione di fisica, psicologia e ontologia. In questa rapida valutazione critica, mi concentro sia sull'aspetto storico-esegetico della proposta, che su alcune sue implicazioni teoretiche. [Testo dell'editore].
  • In this contribution I critically assess a global interpretation of Aristotle's theory of time, developed by Luigi Ruggiu in a ponderous book which has been re-published after many years. His all-round reading explores the many ways in which time is a keytopic in the Aristotelian thought, as it lies at the intersection of physics, ontology and psychology. I take at face value Ruggiu's proposal from an historical-interpretive point of view and suggest some criticisms concerning his theoretical evaluation of Aristotle's theory of time.
