Tra tecnica e politica : i casi di Vittorio Ronchi e Paolo Albertario

2017 - Franco Angeli

49-66 p.

  • In Italy after the World War II, Paolo Albertario and Vittorio Ronchi, the first in the Ministry of Agriculture, the second as High Commissioner for Food, were two experts - very close to the political power - able to make an important contribution to address action in the food and agriculture sectors, collaborating with international bodies such as the Fao, but also, on the national side, with the Bank of Italy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The author argues that, after the crisis of 1947, the dynamics of their relationship with the "parties' system", in a rising bipolar context, showed the links between technique and politics, in the light of the multiple relations of De Gasperi governments with the United States and in a difficult European perspective.
