Le molteplici conseguenze e sfaccettature della globalizzazione contemporanea

- This essay aims to investigate the distortions produced by political, economical and social globalization. The growing interdependence that binds the states and the construction of technical and political bodies that go beyond the national dimension, represent a difficult test for the keeping of democratic political form. The current political global system is constituted of new and unusual actors (such as the multinational enterprises) which are able to influence the global order. Many authors consider the risk that the political power can be supplanted by the financial one. The central question is how conceive a political alternative able to guarantee the fundamental political and social rights: will require a further expansion of globalization, or rather a return to the local dimension?
