Efficiency at metropolitan planning level

- This paper aims to highlight the main criteria for metropolitan efficiency assessment. After the institution of the Metropolitan Cities in Italy that give them the power of territorial metropolitan planning, an important issue is about what knowledge is required. We want highlight strengths and weaknesses of each criteria in reference to metropolitan level, with the aim to have better grounded knowledge framework, outlining environmental and functional points of view. - Con l'istituzione delle città metropolitane in Italia, che conferisce loro il compito di redigere il piano territoriale metropolitano, è utile stabilire su quali conoscenze acquisire. Distinguendo il profilo ambientale e funzionale, ci proponiamo di mettere in luce punti di forza e di debolezza di ciascun criterio presentato in relazione alla scala metropolitana, con l'obiettivo costruire quadri conoscitivi meglio ponderati.
