The author explores this question rethinking a work of hers about the states that fall under the name of "boredom", such a frequent experience in the clinical practice and still so unexplored in the psychoanalytic literature. The hypothesis is that the experience of pandemic put in evidence continuity and diversity in this phenomenom and allowed to discover in the claim of 2boredom" the fingerprint of an unspeakable pain.
