- L'articolo si propone di illustrare gli standard e le iniziative internazionali sulla valutazione delle biblioteche accademiche, con l'analisi degli indicatori che riguardano in modo più approfondito le risorse elettroniche. Sulle risorse elettroniche, inoltre, vengono fornite una serie di definizioni utili a comprendere le misure richieste. L'analisi della letteratura internazionale fa emergere una tendenza alla raccolta e alla valutazione non solo di dati puramente quantitativi sulla "salute" delle biblioteche accademiche, ma anche di dati sulla qualità dell'offerta di servizi agli utenti. - The article aims at presenting a review of standards and current international initiatives on academic libraries evaluation and assessment, with the analysis of indicators related to electronic resources measurement. On electronic resources there are given some definition useful to understand both indicators and measures. The review of the international literature show that the emergent tendency is to collect and evaluate quantitative data related to the "health" of academic libraries together with qualitative data on services offered to library users.
