Spunti tedeschi d'analisi transnazionale sul terrorismo italiano

  • La storiografia tedesca ha di recente esplorato nuove ed interessanti vie per lo studio del terrorismo e della violenza politica di sinistra degli anni Settanta. Tra le diverse suggestioni emerse, la nota si concentra sull'analisi di un approccio di tipo transnazionale, adottato da Petra Terhoeven nel suo più recente studio del terrorismo tedesco-occidentale. In una breve panoramica iniziale, l'articolo cerca di contestualizzare il lavoro di Terhoeven nel più ampio dibattito tedesco, in cui esso si inserisce coerentemente e di cui rappresenta un esito esemplare. Obiettivo della nota è delineare i numerosi spunti d'analisi che la prospettiva transnazionale, così come essa è stata declinata nel dibattito tedesco, potrebbe portare alla riflessione della storiografia italiana sul fenomeno terroristico del nostro paese.   • German historiography has recently explored new and interesting paths for studying left-oriented terrorism and political violence of the Seventies. Among the various proposed suggestions, this article focuses on the analysis of a transnational approach, which has been used by Petra Terhoeven in her most recent publication on West-German terrorism. In a brief opening overview, the article tries to contextualize Terhoeven's study in the more general German historiographical debate, in which it appears to be coherently integrated and of which it represents an exemplar result. Aim of the article is to outline the numerous suggestions that a transnational perspective, as it has been adopted by the German debate, could offer to the Italian historiography on terrorism.
