Die Rosmini-Interpretation Michele Federico Sciaccas und ihre heutigen Potentiale

P. 346-355

This article examines Michele Federico Sciacca's interpretation of Antonio Rosmini, showing how his engagement with Rosmini enabled a decisive move beyond Gentile's Actualism. Sciacca grounds personal identity in the "objective inwardness" of being - an ontological openness to the Absolute that inherently situates the self in relation to the Other. This personalist framework resists the solipsism of modern subjectivism by rooting truth, freedom, and moral action in a relational horizon of transcendence-in-immanence. In its concluding part, the study argues that thisvision allows Sciacca to anticipate the anthropological and ethical impoverishmentof contemporary digital narcissism.

By reinterpreting objective inwardness as a dynamic, relational structure, Sciacca's thought emerges as a conceptual resource for overcoming the erasure of alterity, offering a renewed metaphysics of personhood capable of restoring the dignity of the Other through recognition as love in the Rosminian sense, and addressing the ethical and existential crises of the present age [Publisher's Text].
