  • La recente crisi economica impatta sulla vita di individui e nuclei familiari e ridefinisce ruoli, schemi di comportamento, aspettative e strategie individuali. Tra i costrutti teorici per comprendere le trasformazioni in corso all'interno del welfare mediterraneo la tematica del genere appare non ancora adeguatamente considerata. Come un'ampia e multidisciplinare letteratura dimostra, la povertà non è un fenomeno neutro rispetto al genere e viene declinata e affrontata anche alla luce delle dinamiche intrafamiliari e dell'inclusione nel mercato del lavoro. L'articolo affronta il tema della povertà femminile e presenta una ricerca svolta nel territorio romano. Lo studio - incentrato sull'esperienza della Carta acquisti sperimentale e condotto attraverso un approccio qualitativo - si interroga sui modi in cui le specificità di genere sono considerate e affrontate dagli interventi sociali.   • The recent economic crisis impacts on the lives of individuals and families and redefines roles, behavior patterns, expectations and individual strategies. Among the theoretical constructs to understand the transformations underway in the Mediterranean welfare, the theme â€gender' it appears not yet examined. As a broad and multidisciplinary literature shows, poverty is not gender neutral, but it is also studied and addressed on the basis of intrafamily dynamics and inclusion in the labor market. The article deals with the issue of female poverty and presents a research carried out in the Roman territory. The study - focused on the experimentation of the social card and conducted through qualitative approach - questions the ways in which gender specificities are considered and addressed by social interventions.
