  • La Fotografia Transfigurativa è la nuova corrente artistica che indaga le potenzialità della fotografia al servizio della memoria e del pensiero, associandola al sogno. L'arte, fin dalle prime incisioni rupestri, nasce come una necessità terapeutica, per decongestionare la mente da un sovraccarico di stimoli grezzi. La fotografia è un atto di scomparsa, il movimento dell'otturatore ottiene di far sparire uno stimolo grezzo per trasformarlo in un diverso contenuto simbolico.
  • La sublimazione, in senso transfigurativo, non è asservita a un interdetto morale, non consiste nel mettere a tacere una pulsione, inibirla o abbellirla, sostituendola con una rappresentazione socialmente più accettabile, ma riguarda la possibilità di rafforzare la barriera paraeccitatoria, aiutando l'individuo a integrare le emozioni e gestire l'angoscia. L'articolo si conclude con un omaggio al grande fotografo giapponese Nobuyoshi Araki, il quale ha utilizzato la fotografia per vivere appieno gli ultimi momenti di vita della moglie e il lutto per la sua perdita.   • Transfigurative Photography is a new artistic movement that associ-ates photography with dreams and investigates its potential in the ser-vice of memory and thought. Since the first rock engravings, art was born as a therapeutic need to relieve the mind from an overload of raw stimula. Photography is an act of disappearance, the movement of the shutter make a raw stimulus disappear to turn it into a different symbolic content. Sublimation, in a transfigurative meaning is not enslaved to a moral prohibition, it does not consist in silence a drive, inhibit or beautify it, instead it consists in replacing it with a more socially acceptable representation.
  • It is about the possibility to reinforce the paraexcitatory barrier helping the individual to integrate his emotions and manage anxiety. The article ends with a tribute to the great japanese photographer Nobuyoshi Araki, who used photography to fully live the last moments of life of his wife and the grief for her loss.
