Politiche della cura, indicatori e invisibilità : le operatrici dei Centri Antiviolenza tra militanza e precarietà

2025 - Franco Angeli

153-172 p.

This paper critically analyzes the working conditions of women's shelter (CAV) staff in Italy, with a particular focus on the Puglia Region, against the backdrop of tensions between care ethics, structural precarity, and the institutionalization of feminism. Through a surve based empirical investigation and an analysis of contemporary feminist literature, the study highlights how anti-violence work is now affected by dynamics of precarization, performativity, and epistemic invisibilization, partly fueled by the adoption of quantitative evaluation tools. The findings call for a critical review of funding policies, professional recognition, and service evaluation, placing the question of social and epistemic justice at the core of gender based violence prevention.
