  • Questo articolo mira a contribuire alla storia della fortuna delle Pensées di Pascal in Italia, prendendo in esame due nuclei di documenti conservati dall'Archivio della Congregazione per la Dottrina della Fede: il primo risale al 1706 e riguarda quella che fu forse la prima versione italiana delle Pensées, ad opera del domenicano Joseph Brovet; il secondo risale al 1789 e riguarda la censura dell'edizione dello stesso testo pubblicata nel 1778 a cura di Voltaire e Condorcet.   • This article attempts to contribute to the history of the Italian reception of Pascal's Pensées by focusing on two groups of documents found at the Archive of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (Rome): the first one deals with what was probably the first Italian translation of the Pensées, by the Dominican Joseph Brovet (1706); the second one concerns the censorship of the edition of same text published by Voltaire and Condorcet (1789).
