  • This article studies two positions found in twelfth-century anonymous commentaries to the Categories on the issue of the existence and inherence of relative properties. In the traditional interpretation of Aristotle's Categories, the existence of a relation between two individuals involves the presence of an accidental relative property in each of them. The issue discussed here is that of knowing what happens when an individual has several relations of the same type, for example a father who has several sons. The first position we reconstruct states that the number of accidental relative properties of paternity in the father is the same as the number of children he has; the second position states that the birth of the second son does not add a new accident of paternity.   • L'articolo analizza due posizioni, che si leggono in commenti anonimi alle Categorie redatti nel XII secolo, sulla questione dell'esistenza e inerenza delle proprietà relative. Secondo l'interpretazione tradizionale delle Categorie di Aristotele, l'esistenza di una relazione tra due individui comporta la presenza di una proprietà accidentale relativa in ciascuno di essi. La questione qui discussa è quella di determinare che cosa avvenga qualora un individuo abbia più relazioni del medesimo tipo, come nel caso di un padre che abbia più figli.
