  • Una prospettiva evolutiva in psicoterapia mette l'accento sul futuro più che sul passato, e sul rapporto tra disturbi e compiti evolutivi nel ciclo di vita, tenendo conto del modo in cui i ruoli affettivi si esprimono nel contesto sociale e culturale. Da un punto di vista tecnico, più che allo sviluppo di capacità di mentalizzazione e di una positiva relazione terapeutica, è orientata a trasformare il sistema di valori ideali del Sé. La risimbolizzazione affettiva è un tipo di interpretazione che si fonda su una teoria del senso come struttura dei sistemi motivazionali. Questa prospettiva, che è basata sulla teoria dei codici affettivi di Franco Fornari (1921-1985), è aperta a favorire i processi decisionali in psicoterapia. [Testo dell'editore].
  • A developmental perspective on psychotherapy focuses on the future more than on the past, and on the relationship between disorders and developmental tasks in the life cycle, taking into account the way affective roles are realized in a social and cultural context. From a technical point of view, rather than the development of mentalizing capacity and of a positive therapeutic relationship, it is aimed at transforming the system of ideal values of the self. Affective re-symbolization is a type of interpretation grounded in a theory of meaning as a structure of motivational systems. This perspective, based on Franco Fornari's (1921-1985) theory of affective codes, is open to facilitate decision making in psychotherapy. [Publisher's text].
