  • Fra le due Guerre Mondiali le relazioni popolari, ma anche politiche e filosofiche fra Francia e Germania erano difficili, da un lato Husserl, dall'altro Bergson, da un lato Scheler, dall'altro Gilson. Alexandre Koyré, figura di mediatore, ebbe grande importanza. Studi a Gottinga e a Parigi, esperienze militari fra Francia e Russia, carriera didattica in Francia, ma speranze di un posto in Germania, Koyré oltre a libri su Galileo e Cartesio, articoli e recensioni, svolse un ruolo di orientamento e di aiuto per gli intellettuali ebrei fuggiti dalla Germania, poi dovette fuggire egli stesso all'indomani dell'étrange défaite.   • Between WWI and WWII, France and Germany had complicated relationships in politics and philosophy as well: on one side Husserl and Scheler, Bergson and Gilson on the other. Alexandre Koyré had a great importance as a mediator.
