  • In questo editoriale il Direttore illustra il tema del numero e le riflessioni fatte con la redazione rispetto alla generatività e al suo rapporto con la creatività. La generatività è collegata al passaggio del tempo e delle generazioni, ma anche a ciò che ha una sua origine. Da questo punto di vista, contiene in sé la creatività, l'espressione unica e soggettiva che si trasmette alle generazioni future. Il processo scientifico di ricerca che il pensiero psicoanalitico ha generato con la scoperta di Freud dell'Inconscio, è collegato al trovato-creato di Winnicott e all'epistemologia della scienza con l'ipotesi di Thomas Khun, secondo il quale la ricerca procede normalmente e la scoperta scientifica non è altro che una ristrutturazione di campo del già cono-sciuto. I contenuti del fascicolo sono illustrati in base alle sezioni e al filo di un comune denominatore che individua due campi di ricerca: la generatività del pensiero psicoanalitico e del processo psicoanalitico e quella, più in particolare,
  • che è collegata al corpo che genera o non genera figli, ovvero al bisogno-desiderio di maternità e paternità. Alcuni lavori su quest'ultimo argomento aprono agli interrogativi che la psicoanalisi si pone rispetto alle nuove tecnologie di procreazione assistita che spesso attualizzano un bisogno concreto, non passano attraverso il lutto del limite fisico della sterilità, generando confusione tra bisogno e desiderio, tra fisico e psichico.   • In this editorial the Director illustrates the theme of the number and the reflections made with the editorial board on generativity and its relationship with creativity. Generativity is connected to the passage of time and of generations, but also to what has its own origin. From this point of view, it contains creativity, the unique and subjective expression that is transmitted to future generations. The scientific research process that psychoanalytic thought has generated with Freud's discovery of the Unconscious is connected to Winnicott's found-created and to the epistemology of science with the hypothesis of Thomas Khun, according to which research proceeds normally and scientific discovery is nothing but a restructuring of the field of the already known. The contents of the issue are illustrated according to the sections and the thread of a common denominator that identifies two fields of research: the generativity of psychoanalytic thought and psychoanalytic process and the one, more particularly,
  • that is connected to the body that generates or does not generate children, that is the need-desire for motherhood and fatherhood. Some works on this last topic open to the questions that psychoanalysis poses about new technologies of assisted procreation that often actualize a concrete need, do not pass through the mourning of the physical limit of infertility, and so generate confusion between need and desire, between physical and psychic.
