The two volumes are introduced by a Preface written by the cultural and lay leaders of the Basilica: Rector, Pontifical Delegate, Provincial Minister, and President of the Ark of St. Anthony and, for the scientific part, Salvatore Settis; and above all by the Holy Father Pope Francis.
