Riflessioni sull'abuso sessuale da parte delle madri : rivelazioni, trauma e trattamento dei bambini abusati dalle donne

  • L'abuso sessuale da parte di donne è poco rilevato, probabilmente per uno stereotipo che identifica la donna come ottimo caregiver e non come un potenziale aggressore (O'Brien,Margolin, John, & Krueger, 1991; Saradijan, 1996). Analizzeremo i numeri dell'abuso materno e di come incida nelle fasi di rivelazione, valutazione del danno e trattamento. È molto più probabile che, a causa del ruolo di cura, l'abuso venga confuso con comportamenti affettuosi accettabili, rispetto allo stesso abuso commesso da un uomo. Si tratta, quindi, di gravi esperienze traumatiche precoci, che generano necessariamente una dissociazione protettiva del Sé, vincolata ad un segreto collusivo. Attraverso i casi vorremmo mostrare come in questi minori il danno sia rilevante e sia presente vergogna e identificazione con l'aggressore. [Testo dell'editore]
  • Sexual abuse by women is little detected, probably due to a stereotype that identifies the woman as an excellent caregiver and not as a potential aggressor (O'Brien, Margolin, John& Krueger, 1991; Saradijan, 1996). We will analyse the numbers of maternal abuse and how they affect disclosure, damage assessment and treatment. It is much more likely that due to the role of care, abuse is confused with an acceptable affectionate behaviour thanthe same abuse committed by a man. These are therefore serious initial traumatic experiences that necessarily generate a protective dissociation of the Self, linked to a collusivesecret. Through the cases we would like to show how in these minors the damage is significant and there is shame and identification with the aggressor. [Publisher's text]
