Biografia e storiografia : appunti e riflessioni metodologiche a partire da una recente biografia di Kant

Starting from the analysis of the content of the Kant's biography written by Manfred Kuehn, recently translated into Italian, the article puts on evidence - in the first part - the many new elements that emerge from this important book that gives us new aspects of the Kantian personality and - in the second part - tends to discuss the biography as a historiographical form of research, based on rigorous consultation of the sources but also on the constitutive impossibility to give completely reason of many elements of the life of the historical characters.
