- This paper is a comparative study of the pictorial materials decorating the main Royal Sites situated in the areas of Naples and Caserta. The iconography analysed has celebratory and symbolic value, with the task of exalting royal power and court magnificence through a rich repertoire of images characterised by a variety of themes and formal solutions. - Il saggio, con un taglio di indagine comparativa, esamina i temi delle decorazioni pittoriche dei principali siti reali di area napoletana e casertana. Un'iconografia essenzialmente celebrativa e simbolica con la funzione di esaltare il potere regio e la magnificenza della corte, attraverso un repertorio di immagini ricco per la varietà dei temi e per la molteplicità delle soluzioni formali.
