Evaluation in educational contexts mostly deals with reflections on programs aimed at youngsters, but it is useful to change lenses and observe what happens when teachers and educators are trained. In this paper we will investigate the educational strategies implemented in order to strengthen the empowerment of vulnerable young people. We will analyse three evaluation projects aimed at developing train the trainers' programs to support soft skills and foster young people's engagement. The analysis is carried out through the comparison of the results emerging from the mixed methods techniques used to collect the data.
