Crise, pouvoirs d'exception et assise d'une domination : Cosimo de' Medici et la balìa
P. 245-264
Between the fourteenth and the fifteenth centuries, Florence experienced intense political activity consisting of clashes of various groups from the oligarchy to take control of the state. To fulfill this purpose, the different actors used exceptional powers and magistracies as a means to bring down the enemy and seize power over the institutions. By the balìa mechanism and their grip of electoral lists, the Medici managed to secure their domination over the city for decades.
