Ridefinirsi giovani : conflitti, connessioni e solidarietà

  • Nelle società occidentali i processi di transizione all'età adulta si sono forte-mente complicati ma, nel caso dell'Italia, si parla di una vera e propria pato-logia soprattutto in relazione alle fratture economiche, sociali e culturali de-terminate dagli effetti della pandemia da Covid19 prima, e dalla guerra russa in Ucraina successivamente, hanno ulteriormente complicato la situazione. Le autrici, però, evidenziano quanto i giovani siano in grado di reagire, di at-tuare forme di negoziazione attiva nei confronti delle dinamiche sociali, poli-tiche, economiche che si trovano a vivere; di esprimere repertori di creatività per tenere sotto controllo le principali coordinate della loro vita quotidiana, sfruttando le opportunità del contesto.
  • Il contributo presenta alcuni dei risultati emersi da un'indagine qualitativa - condotta tra agosto 2019 e febbraio 2022 all'interno di un progetto Prin - sulle esperienze di giovani uomini e giovani donne, di età compresa tra i ven-ticinque e i trentaquattro anni, coinvolti in forme di partecipazione politica extra istituzionale, in diverse realtà territoriali. L'analisi realizzata dalle due autrici mette in luce i modi in cui i giovani af-frontano grandi questioni epocali, dalla lotta alle diseguaglianze alle azioni a sostegno della dignità delle persone, dalle questioni di giustizia climatica alla lotta alla precarietà. E un focus specifico è dedicato alle relazioni intragene-razionali e intergenerazionali. [Testo dell'editore].
  • In Western societies, the processes of transition to adulthood have become highly complicated but, in the case of Italy, they have all the characteristics of a real pathology especially in relation to the economic, social and cultural rifts determined by the effects of the Covid19 pandemic first, and the Russian war in Ukraine later. The authors, however, highlight how young people are able to react, to imple-ment forms of active negotiation towards the social, political and economic dynamics they find themselves experiencing; to express repertoires of creativ-ity to keep the main coordinates of their daily lives under control, taking ad-vantage of the opportunities of the context.
  • This paper contains some of the results that emerged from a qualitative inves-tigation - done between August 2019 and February 2022 as a part of a larger Prin project - on the experiences of young men and young women, aged be-tween 25 and 34, involved in forms of extra-institutional political participa-tion, in different territorial realities. The analysis carried out by the two authors highlights the ways in which young people face great epochal issues, from the fight against inequalities to actions in support of people's dignity, from issues of climate justice to the fight against precarity. And a special focus is reserved to intragenerational and intergenerational relationships. [Publisher's text].
