Immergersi, trasformare, trasformarsi : un percorso di psicoterapia psicoanalitica a domicilio

  • L'autrice presenta il lavoro terapeutico, svolto presso il domicilio di un paziente affetto da SLA, che tiene conto dei bisogni riportati non solo dal paziente, ma anche dal caregiver, la moglie. La malattia, che relega per ragioni diverse entrambi i coniugi nella casa, li tiene simbioticamente uniti e bloccati, fisicamente e psichicamente. Questa immobilizzazione coinvolge anche la terapeuta che necessita di un "terzo", un gruppo clinico di intervisione, per mobilitare l'impasse in cui si ritrova. Le emozioni consce e inconsce, ascoltate e accolte in un luogo "altro" dal campo analitico, generano nuovi pensieri e consentono delle significative evoluzioni del percorso terapeutico. Grazie a questa trasformazione del campo analitico il paziente, con il supporto della moglie, avvierà un lavoro di scrittura, che porterà entrambi ad affrontare ed elaborare ciò che hanno vissuto e stanno vivendo.

  • The author carries out therapeutic work at an ALS' patient's house, whilst taking into consideration the needs reported not only by the patient, but also by the caregiver, his wife. The disease, due to different reasons, relegates the spouses to their house thus keeping them symbiotically united and blocked, physically and psychically. This immobilization also involves the therapist needing a "third", a clinical intervision team, to help mobilize the impasse in which she finds herself. Both conscious and unconscious emotions, which are heard and received in a "different" place from the analytic field, permit to generate new thoughts and allow for significant evolution in the therapeutic process to take place. Thanks to this transformation of the analytic field, the patient, with the support of his wife, can start writing, allowing for the both of them to face and process what they have experienced and are experiencing.
  • Throughout this work, the transformative potential of the tools acquired in the author's training path will be highlighted whilst being used in this delicate and complex therapeutic situation. [Publisher's text].
