  • Student housing has become a pillar of student social growth in a system characterized by active relationships between universities and cities. Since 2000 in Italy, the student housing issue has explored through the application of the Law 338/2000. In this scenario, the contribution critically analyses the student housing national policies with the aim of verifying how and to what extent, "Inhabiting the university" can enhance the "living of the city".
