  • In questo saggio è ricostruita la traiettoria dei rapporti fra Psf e Pci fra il 1972 e il 1984, durante le segreterie di Enrico Berlinguer e di François Mitterrand, e i primi quattro anni in cui quest'ultimo si trova alla Presidenza della Repubblica francese. I giudizi sul Pci sono un interessante angolo visuale per comprendere il modo in cui, nel corso degli anni settanta, il partito di Mitterrand conduce la lotta per l'egemonia all'interno della sinistra nazionale e per definire le modalità con cui, a partire dalla vittoria alle presidenziali del 1981, esso compie la revisione strategica e culturale necessaria a svolgere il nuovo ruolo di partito di governo. D'altro canto lo studio delle relazioni fra i due partiti costituisce un punto di vista specifico per approfondire l'analisi della politica estera del Pci sia nei confronti dei partiti dell'Internazionale socialista sia rispetto ai partiti comunisti dell'Europa occidentale.   • This essay revisits the trajectory of the relations between Psf and Pci. It comprises their relations during the leadership of Enrico Berlinguer and François Mitterrand and the first four years in which the latter held the presidency of France. The opinions on the Pci open up an interesting perspective to understand how Mitterand's party fights for the hegemony within the nation's left during the 1970s, and to define how - after the victory in the 1981 elections - it strategically and culturally revisits its new role in government. The analysis of the relations between both parties constitutes a specific point of view on the foreign policy of the Pci both towards parties of the Socialist International and the communist parties of Western Europe.
