Hollitzer

Hollitzer Verlag is a Viennese publishing house specializing in academic publications in the fields of musicology, theater studies and cultural history.
Born from Redaktion Tagbau, Hollitzer Verlag has been publishing high-quality academic books since 2011 – monographs, anthologies, series, editions of musical scores, magazines.
In 2015, Mille Tre Editrici was taken over, which further developed the key area of musicology. Hollitzer has since published the musicological book series Musikkontext, Erträge der Lehre and Anklaenge (from the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna).
Between 2015 and 2018, the Österreichische Musikzeitschrift (ÖMZ, «Austrian Music Magazine») was produced. The OMZ was the representative publication body for "classical" and new music, as well as for the world of music and musical theater in Austria.
In 2016, ten series were acquired by German publisher Schneider, Tutzing. Since then, numerous academic musicological series have been published by Hollitzer. That same year, Hollitzer began publishing edition of musical scores.
