Aureo Anello Associazione (Golden Ring Association) is a Florence-based cultural association dedicated to research, preservation, and publishing, founded in 2001 by Carlo Steinhauslin and Julia Bolton Holloway, with Gerardo Kraft, Lapo Mazzei and Giannozzo Pucci among its charter members.
The organisation's activities include maintaining the Mediatheca Fioretta Mazzei, restoring and researching Florence’s English Cemetery, organising international City and Book conferences series, and creating limited-edition books; it maintains two major websites: umilta.net (on women contemplatives and the Roma) and florin.ms (on Dante, his teacher Brunetto Latini, and on Elizabeth Barrett Browning and her circle in Florence).
The association also supports Roma families through literacy and employment initiatives.
