The Workers' Winter Games were events organized by the international workers'sports movement dedicated to winter sports. There were six in total, divided equallybetween the Workers' Winter Olympics, organized by the socialist workers' sportfederation (Sasi) and the Winter Spartakiads of the Red Sports International, theComintern branch responsible for sports. The aim of this article is to review recentstudies that have focused on the Workers' Winter Games, attempting to analyze theirimpact both in terms of sport and politics. [Publisher's text]
