Un'allegoria mistificata = A mystified allegory

In epoca industriale, e in particolare nel corso del XX secolo, l'impatto delle attività produttive sul territorio ha coinvolto nuove scale, tanto da condurre studiosi di diverse discipline a rilevare come il mondo nel suo complesso fosse stato contaminato (Moore, 2015; Jarrige e Le Roux, 2017). Tuttavia, tale contaminazione non è distribuita in maniera uniforme e permane una forte disparità tra territori (Keil, 2020) che hanno ereditato suoli più o meno degradati, infrastrutture più o meno pericolose e che sono variamente esposti a forme di violenza ambientale (Pessina, 2022). Pertanto, la tipologia stessa di queste eredità tossiche è varia. Quali sono dunque le specificità locali di questi “negative commons” (Bennholdt-Thomsen e Mies, 2001)? Come vengono percepiti dai vari attori locali (o anche regionali e nazionali)? Come viene gestita la situazione e trasmessa come eredità al futuro? [Testo dell'editore]

In the industrial age, and particularly during the 20th century, a change of scale took place in terms of the impact of productive activities on the territory. The world, in its complex manifestation, was contaminated (Moore, 2015; Jarrrige and Le Roux, 2017). An environmental disparity remains, however, and while territories have inherited soils that are degraded, infrastructures that are potentially dangerous, the typology itself of these toxic legacies varies greatly (Keil, 2020; Pessina, 2022). So, what are the local specificities of these “negative commons” (Bennholdt-Thomsen and Mies, 2001)? How are they perceived by the various local, or even regional and national, players?
