Lavorare agile, lavorare da remoto : che genere di conciliazione?

- Technologies are changing the world of work, as the diffusion of new ways of working (e.g. smart working) shows. The paper, based on a qualitative research carried out in a banking institution, intends to reflect on what kind of gender conciliation this new organization of work promises and allows to the professionals interviewed. Is this "proactive approach to flexibility" freeing all workers by allowing them a better work-life balance or is bringing back women to work from home? The widespread use of smart working, due to Covid emergency, makes this issue relevant more than ever. The analysis of the stories warns enthusiasm against standardized models or recipes and invites to look for tailor-made solutions able to exploit the smart working potentiality: recognizing heterogeneity of professional profiles and their needs and dealing with the stereotypes of gender that still charac-terize the work-life balance issue is the next challenge. - Le tecnologie stanno cambiando il mondo del lavoro, come mostra la diffusione dei new ways of working (come lo smart working). Il paper, basato su una ricerca qualitativa realizzata in un istituto bancario, intende riflettere su che genere di conciliazione questa nuova organizzazione del lavoro promette e permette ai professionisti intervistati. Tale "approccio proattivo alla flessibilità" sta liberando i lavoratori permettendo loro un miglior bilanciamento vita-lavoro o sta riproponendo alle sole donne un ritorno al lavoro da casa? L'uso diffuso dello smart working, dovuto all'emergenza Covid, rende la questione più rilevante che mai.
- L'analisi delle storie mette in guardia dagli entusiasmi legati a modelli o ricette preconfezionate e invita a cercare soluzioni su misura capaci di sfruttare le potenzialità dello smart working: ri-conoscere l'eterogeneità delle figure professionali e i loro bisogni e affrontare gli stereotipi di genere che ancora caratterizzano il tema della conciliazione è la prossima sfida.
