  • Dopo l'11 settembre un genere cinematografico ha conosciuto una crescita esponenziale: il genere dei supereroi e in particolare il genere dei supereroi della Marvel. E nei film dell'universo Marvel Cinematic Universe sono presenti fin dall'inizio immagini che richiamano direttamente ed indirettamente la tragedia dell'11 settembre. Nonostante critiche di superficialità, i film MCU sono stati in grado di riassumere e di superare una serie di tendenze presenti nel cinema americano degli ultimi dieci, contribuendo in maniera decisiva a creare un immaginario catastrofico che sintetizza e arricchisce quello già esistente.   • After 9/11, a genre has grown exponentially: the superhero genre, and within it the body of Marvel superhero films. In these we can identify a catastrophic imaginary that is very much linked to the tragedy of September 11th, and the Marvel Studios have helped to create a new representation of the trauma suffered. Despite criticism that the films are superficial, the aesthetic of Marvel films is in fact more complex, and it allows the synthesis and the overcoming of a whole series of tendencies present in the American cinema of the last ten years.
