  • Il saggio intende ricostruire le tappe e le modalità attraverso cui si declina l'interesse di Delio Cantimori per l'opera di Marx e la tradizione marxista, tra l'inizio degli anni Trenta e la fine degli anni Quaranta. L'origine di tale interesse, specialmente per le interpretazioni tedesche di Marx, non è da individuarsi nella conversione di Cantimori al comunismo ma nello sviluppo della sue riflessioni sulle ideologie e la politica contemporanea, sul rapporto tra filosofia e politica, sulla natura e i compiti della storiografia.   • The essay focuses on the relationship between the historiographical works of Delio Cantimori and the Marxist tradition. It aims to reconstruct the stages and the conceptual framework of Cantimori's reading of Marxian works from the early Thirties to the late Forties. The interest for the Marxist tradition, especially for the works of German scholars like Korsch and Rosenberg, is not directly connected to Cantimori's 'conversion' to Communism from Fascism, but to his reflections on ideologies and contemporary politics, on the relationships between philosophy and politics, and on the nature and the tasks of historiography.
