  • Il contributo interroga la relazione tra comunità insediata, risorse e territorio in una prospettiva al contempo storica e attuale. A partire da un'analisi delle modalità attraverso cui la comunità ha storicamente affrontato e gestito le fragilità ambientali del territorio civitonico, dallo studio del paesaggio, della storia dei luoghi, delle logiche e delle regole di convivenza e rispetto reciproco tra uomo e natura, l'autrice propone di ricercare spunti per gestire le complessità che si presentano oggi a Civita. Come affrontare la nuova fase della storia per Civita e la sua valle, dove i conflitti si moltiplicano esponenzialmente grazie anche ai nuovi fenomeni del turismo? L'idea di recuperare il concetto già esplorato del territorio di Bagnoregio come 'laboratorio' per affrontare le criticità attuali in chiave eco-sostenibile potrebbe essere la strada giusta.   • This paper investigates the relationship between the local community, natural resources and the territory, both from an historical and present perspective. The research moves from the analysis of how the community has historically faced and managed the geological and environmental fragility in the area of Civita; to the study of the landscape and the way people and nature interact and coexist. The author suggests searching for clues on how to manage the new challenges that Civita faces today. This paper explores new ways to deal with the new historical phase Civita and its valley are facing, where conflicts multiply due to the new mass tourism phenomena. The idea of identifying Bagnoregio and the surrounding territory as a 'workshop' to experiment new ways to face the new challenges with an environmentally friendly approach could be the right way..
