Haus Publishing

Haus Publishing was founded in London in 2003 by BarbaraSchwepcke. Inspired by the Monographien of the German publishing house Rowohlt,Haus first published short biographies in the Life&Times series. In recentyears the list has broadened substantially to include history, politics,current affairs, and memoir as well biography. Since 2005, Haus have publishedtravel writing under the Armchair Traveller imprint. Well-established seriesnow include the Haus Curiosities, short political works published under theguidance of Series Editor Peter Hennessy; The Makers of the Modern World, a32-volume history of the Paris Peace Conferences after the First World War; andArmchair Traveller’s Histories.
