U+D : Urbanform and design

L'Erma di Bretschneider
  • U+D urbanform and design is a scientific journal dedicated to the themes of urban morphology, and contemporary city. The journal investigates a field of contemporary architecture far from the idea of self-referencing design spread over in the last few decades. The journal supports the profound link between architecture and city as questionable and recognizable through in its own form. It is published in English in order to reach readers of different backgrounds and cultures. Its high-profile international Scientific Committee and extensive Referees network ensure the quality of its contents. Urban Morphology, Architectural and Urban Design are the main disciplinary topic on which the journal is based. Such topics are investigated through critical essays and a series of “viewpoints” intended to stimulate the debate about the main issues concerning contemporary architecture. The journal has a semiannual periodicity; it is subject to peer-review and holds an ANVUR Class A classification. [Publisher's Text]
