2016 - Il Poligrafo

41-66 p.

  • This article takes up Eriugena's interpretation of the doctrine of the double creation, both of the world and of man, and gives an analysis of the section of the Periphyseon known as Eriugena's "Hexaemeron". It will be pointed out that sin and creation coincide, and both are causes and initial moments of historical development, while the realization of the human nature in the deficatio will coincide with the end of history.
